Piston Oil Nozzle Cleaning and Inspection





1. Clean the piston oil nozzle in cleaning solvent.

Caution: Wear safety glasses in order to avoid eye damage.

2. Dry the nozzle with compressed air.
3. Inspect the piston oil nozzle for:
^ Cracks or damage
^ Plugged oil passages (1)
^ Bent, misaligned, or cracked oil nozzle tubes (2)
^ Bent or broken clip (3)
