Removal Procedure

1. Remove the rear seats. Refer toSeat Replacement - Rear (Seat Replacement - Rear) in Seats.
2. Remove the rear quarter trim panel. Refer toTrim Panel Replacement - Rear Quarter (Right) (Trim Panel Replacement - Rear Quarter (Right))Trim Panel Replacement - Rear Quarter (Left) (Trim Panel Replacement - Rear Quarter (Left)) .
3. Remove the body pillar upper trim panel. Refer toTrim Panel Replacement - Upper Center Pillar (Service and Repair) .
4. Remove the front door sill plate. Refer toDoor Sill Plate Replacement (Door) (Door Sill Plate Replacement)Door Sill Plate Replacement (Sliding Door) (Door Sill Plate Replacement (Sliding Door)) .




5. Remove the body side front trim panel retainers using theJ 38778 .
6. Remove the body side front trim panel from the vehicle.



Installation Procedure





1. Install the body side front trim panel to the vehicle.
2. Install the body side front trim panel retainers by aligning the retainers to the holes and pushing in on the retainers to secure them.
3. Install the front door sill plate. Refer toDoor Sill Plate Replacement (Door) (Door Sill Plate Replacement)Door Sill Plate Replacement (Sliding Door) (Door Sill Plate Replacement (Sliding Door)) .
4. Install the body pillar upper trim panel. Refer toTrim Panel Replacement - Upper Center Pillar (Service and Repair) .
5. Install the rear quarter trim panel. Refer toTrim Panel Replacement - Rear Quarter (Right) (Trim Panel Replacement - Rear Quarter (Right))Trim Panel Replacement - Rear Quarter (Left) (Trim Panel Replacement - Rear Quarter (Left)) .
6. Install the rear seats. Refer toSeat Replacement - Rear (Seat Replacement - Rear) in Seats.
