Carpet Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the front seats. Refer toSeat Replacement - Front Bucket (Seat Replacement - Front Bucket) in Seats.
2. Remove the rear seats. Refer toSeat Replacement - Rear (Seat Replacement - Rear) in Seats.
3. Remove the anchor plate bezels. Refer toCarpet Trim Plate Replacement - Rear Floor (Carpet Trim Plate Replacement - Rear Floor) .
4. Remove the left and the right front door sill plates. Refer toDoor Sill Plate Replacement (Door) (Door Sill Plate Replacement)Door Sill Plate Replacement (Sliding Door) (Door Sill Plate Replacement (Sliding Door)) .
5. Remove the sliding door sill plate. Refer toDoor Sill Plate Replacement (Door) (Door Sill Plate Replacement)Door Sill Plate Replacement (Sliding Door) (Door Sill Plate Replacement (Sliding Door)) .
6. Remove the rear liftgate sill plate. Refer toDoor Sill Plate Replacement - Liftgate (Service and Repair) .
7. Remove the left trim panel and remove the right trim panel from the side center pillar. Refer toTrim Panel Replacement - Body Lock Pillar Upper (Trim Panel Replacement - Body Lock Pillar Upper) .
8. Remove the lower instrument panel (I/P) cowl panels. Refer toTrim Panel Replacement - Cowl Side (Trim Panel Replacement - Cowl Side) .
9. Remove the left and the right quarter trim. Refer toTrim Panel Replacement - Rear Quarter (Right) (Trim Panel Replacement - Rear Quarter (Right))Trim Panel Replacement - Rear Quarter (Left) (Trim Panel Replacement - Rear Quarter (Left)) .




10. Remove the carpet (2) from the vehicle.



Installation Procedure






Caution: In order to avoid personal injury or vehicle damage when you repair or replace the carpet, use the same thickness and material size as the original installation. Always return the carpet to the original location.

1. Install the carpet (2) to the vehicle.
2. Install the left and the right quarter trim. Refer toTrim Panel Replacement - Rear Quarter (Right) (Trim Panel Replacement - Rear Quarter (Right))Trim Panel Replacement - Rear Quarter (Left) (Trim Panel Replacement - Rear Quarter (Left)) .
3. Install the lower I/P cowl panels. Refer toTrim Panel Replacement - Cowl Side (Trim Panel Replacement - Cowl Side) .
4. Install the left trim panel and install the right trim panel to the side center pillar. Refer toTrim Panel Replacement - Body Lock Pillar Upper (Trim Panel Replacement - Body Lock Pillar Upper) .
5. Install the rear liftgate sill plate. Refer toDoor Sill Plate Replacement - Liftgate (Service and Repair) .
6. Install the sliding door sill plate. Refer toDoor Sill Plate Replacement (Door) (Door Sill Plate Replacement)Door Sill Plate Replacement (Sliding Door) (Door Sill Plate Replacement (Sliding Door)) .
7. Install the left and the right front door sill plates. Refer toDoor Sill Plate Replacement (Door) (Door Sill Plate Replacement)Door Sill Plate Replacement (Sliding Door) (Door Sill Plate Replacement (Sliding Door)) .

9. Install the rear seats. Refer toSeat Replacement - Rear (Seat Replacement - Rear) in Seats.
10. Install the front seats. Refer toSeat Replacement - Front Bucket (Seat Replacement - Front Bucket) in Seats.
