- J 37780 Axle Shaft Remover
- J 26941 Knuckle Seal Remover
- J 29369-1 Axle Bearing Remover
- J 23907 Slide Hammer
- J 37770 Axle Shaft Oil Seal Installer
- J 8092 Driver Handle

Removal Procedure
1. Raise the vehicle. Support the vehicle.
2. Remove the left drive axle shaft from the vehicle.
3. Use the following steps in order to remove the left inner axle shaft from the front axle housing:
3.1. Install the J 37780 between the front axle housing and the left inner angle shaft flange.
3.2. Gently tap the left inner shaft away from and out of the housing.





4. Use the following steps in order to remove the left inner axle shaft oil seal (1) from the front axle housing:
4.1. Install the J 26941 into the left inner axle shaft oil seal (1).
4.2. Tighten the thumb screw on the J 26941 in order to ensure that the J 26941 has a firm grasp on the left inner axle shaft oil seal (1).
4.3. Attach the J 23907 onto the J 26941.
4.4. Gently tap the left inner shaft oil seal (1) out of the front axle housing.

Installation Procedure





Important: The right and left axle shaft oil seals (2) are designed to be installed into the front axle housing at different depths. The J 37770 is 2-sided and is stamped with the letters R and L to ensure the correct axle shaft oil seal installation.

1. Install the left drive axle shaft into the vehicle.
2. Lower the vehicle.
