Power Steering Pump Bracket Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the power steering pump drive belt from the power steering pump pulley.





2. Remove the 3 bolts from the power steering pump (3)
3. Move the power steering pump to the side.
4. Remove the bolt that retains the A/C compressor to the power steering pump bracket (4).
5. Remove the 3 bolts that retain the bracket to the engine block.

Installation Procedure

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.





1. Install the power steering pump bracket (4) to the vehicle. Install the 3 bolts in order to retain the bracket to the engine block.
Tighten the bolts to 25 Nm (18.5 ft. lbs.).
2. Install the bolt in order to retain the A/C compressor to the bracket.
Tighten the bolt to 25 Nm (18.5 ft. lbs.).
3. Install the 3 bolts in order to retain the power steering pump (3) to the bracket.
Tighten the bolts to 25 Nm (18.5 ft. lbs.).
4. Install the power steering pump drive belt.
