Child Tether Anchor Bracket Replacement - Rear

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Open rear door.
2. Pull back rear carpet (2).
3. Remove the rear tether anchor cover (1).




4. Remove the rear tether anchor bolts (1).
5. Remove the rear tether anchor (2) from vehicle.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the rear tether anchor bracket (2) to the vehicle. Secure the rear tether anchor bracket (2) with the bolts (1).

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

Tighten
Tighten the rear tether anchor bracket bolts to 26 N.m (19 lb ft).




2. Install the rear tether anchor bracket trim cover (1) to the rear tether anchor bracket.
3. Pull carpet (2) back to its original position.
4. Close rear door.
