Spare Tire Carrier Replacement

Removal Procedure





1. Remove the spare tire and wheel assembly.
2. Remove the 4 bolts (2) that retain the spare wheel carrier (1).
3. Remove the spare wheel carrier (1) from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.





1. Install the spare wheel carrier (1) to the vehicle. Install the 4 bolts (2) that retain the carrier to the vehicle.
^ Tighten the bolts to 45 Nm (33 ft. lbs.).
2. Install the spare tire and wheel assembly.
