Brake Caliper Bracket Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the brake pads and the hardware.







2. Remove the 2 mounting bolts and the caliper bracket (2) from the vehicle.
3. Remove the 2 caliper pins and the 2 boots from the caliper bracket.




Installation Procedure

Important: Verify the boots fit into the grooves securely.







1. Install the 2 boots to the caliper bracket.
2. Apply disc brake caliper lubricant to the slide pins.
3. Install the slide pins to the caliper bracket.







4. Install the caliper bracket (2) to the vehicle.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.



5. Install the 2 mounting bolts.
- Tighten the bolts to 85 Nm (61.5 lb ft).

6. Install the brake pads and the hardware.
