Manual Seat Lumbar Support Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove lumbar adjuster knob. Refer to Lumbar Support Knob Replacement (Lumbar Support Knob Replacement).




2. Unlock seat cover J channel (2)
3. Pull up on seat back cover (3) to access lumbar adjuster (1).





Important: The lumbar support must be in the relaxed position to disconnect the lumbar support cable.


4. Remove the lumbar control cable (3) from the lumbar adjuster (2).
5. Remove the screws (1) from the lumbar adjuster (2).
6. Remove the lumbar adjuster (2) from the seat back frame.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the lumbar adjuster (2) to the seat back frame.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

2. Install the screws (1) to the lumbar adjuster (2).

Tighten the screws to 10 Nm (89 lb in).

3. Install the lumbar control cable (3) to the lumbar adjuster (2).




4. Reposition the seat back cover (3) and refasten the J channel (2).
5. Install the lumbar adjuster knob. Refer to Lumbar Support Knob Replacement (Lumbar Support Knob Replacement).
