Seat Back Cover Replacement - Rear (4 Door)

SEAT BACK COVER REPLACEMENT - REAR (4 DOOR)

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the rear seat head restraints and guides.
2. Remove the rear seat back cushion.
3. Unscrew the rear seat back cushion latch release knob (2) from the rear seat back hinge rod.




4. Release the J-retainer (2) along the bottom of the seat back cushion (1).




5. Remove the following components from the seat back cushion (1):
5.1. The plastic retainer (3)
5.2. The screw and rear seat back cushion bumper (1)




6. Remove the 2 screws (3) and rear seat recliner inside lower finish cover (2) from the seat back cushion (1).




7. Release the J-retainer (1) which secures each side of the rear seat back cushion cover.




8. Remove the seat back cushion cover (1) from the rear seat back cushion pad and frame (2).

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the rear seat back cushion cover (1) to the rear seat back cushion pad and frame (2). Ensure that the cover is fully secured to the pad at the velcro strips (3).




2. Secure the seat back cushion cover to the seat back cushion frame with the J-retainer (1) at each side.




3. Install the rear seat recliner inside lower finish cover (2) to the seat back cushion (1). Secure the cover with the 2 screws (3).




4. Install the following components to the seat back cushion (2):
4.1. The screw and rear seat back cushion bumper (1)
4.2. The plastic retainer (3)




5. Secure the seat back cushion (1) along the bottom with the J-retainer (2).




6. Install the rear seat back cushion latch release knob (2) to the rear seat back hinge rod.
7. Install the rear seat back cushion.
8. Install the rear seat head restraints and guides.
