Trim Panel Replacement - Upper Center Pillar (2 Door)

TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - UPPER CENTER PILLAR (2 DOOR)

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the folding top side rail garnish molding.
2. Remove the front seat belt guide loop cover (1).
3. Remove the front seat belt guide loop anchor bolt (2).
4. Remove the rear assist handle (4).




5. Remove the folding top #3 bow mounting screw trim cover (4).




6. Remove the folding top #3 bow mounting screws (2).
7. Remove the upper center pillar trim from the vehicle by gently disengaging the plastic retainers.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the upper center pillar trim to the vehicle. Secure the trim by pressing into place to ensure that the plastic retainers are fully engaged.
2. Install the folding top #3 bow mounting screws (2).




3. Install the folding top #3 bow mounting screw trim cover (4).




4. Install the rear assist handle (4).
5. Install the front seat belt guide loop anchor bolt (2).

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

Tighten
Tighten the front seat belt guide loop anchor bolt to 35 N.m (25 lb ft).

6. Install the front seat belt guide loop cover (1).
7. Install the folding top side rail garnish molding.
