Front Floor Panel Carpet Replacement (4 Door)

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the front seats. Refer to Front Seat Replacement - Bucket (Front Seat Replacement - Bucket) in Seats.
2. Remove the rear floor console. Refer to Rear Floor Console Replacement (Rear Floor Console Replacement) in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
3. Remove the front floor console. Refer to Front Floor Console Replacement (Front Floor Console Replacement) in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
4. Remove the front floor foot rest. Refer to Driver Footrest Replacement (Driver Footrest Replacement).
5. Remove the following components from the vehicle:

1. The 3 plastic retainers (2)
2. The front side door sill trim plate (1)




6. Remove the body hinge pillar trim panels. Refer to Body Hinge Pillar Trim Panel Replacement - Left Side (Body Hinge Pillar Trim Panel Replacement - Left Side) and Body Hinge Pillar Trim Panel Replacement - Right Side (Body Hinge Pillar Trim Panel Replacement - Right Side).
7. Remove the following components from the vehicle:

1. The 3 plastic retainers
2. The rear side door sill trim plate

8. Remove the lower center pillar trim panel. Refer to Center Pillar Lower Trim Panel Replacement (4 Door) (Center Pillar Lower Trim Panel Replacement (4 Door)).
9. Remove the rear seat cushion. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Replacement (2 Door) (Rear Seat Cushion Replacement (2 Door))Rear Seat Cushion Replacement (4 Door) (Rear Seat Cushion Replacement (4 Door)) in Seats.
10. Remove the 2 plastic retainers (2) that retain each side of the front floor panel carpet (1) to the bulkhead.




11. Remove the front floor panel carpet (1) from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the front floor panel carpet (1) to the vehicle.




2. Install the 2 plastic retainers (2) that retain each side of the front floor panel carpet (1) to the bulkhead.
3. Install the rear seat cushion. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Replacement (2 Door) (Rear Seat Cushion Replacement (2 Door))Rear Seat Cushion Replacement (4 Door) (Rear Seat Cushion Replacement (4 Door)) in Seats.
4. Install the lower center pillar trim panel. Refer to Center Pillar Lower Trim Panel Replacement (4 Door) (Center Pillar Lower Trim Panel Replacement (4 Door)).
5. Install the rear side door sill trim plate to the vehicle. Secure the trim plate with the 3 plastic retainers.
6. Install the body hinge pillar trim panels. Refer to Body Hinge Pillar Trim Panel Replacement - Left Side (Body Hinge Pillar Trim Panel Replacement - Left Side) and Body Hinge Pillar Trim Panel Replacement - Right Side (Body Hinge Pillar Trim Panel Replacement - Right Side).




7. Install the front side door sill trim plate (1) to the vehicle. Secure the trim plate with the 3 plastic retainers (2).
8. Install the front floor foot rest. Refer to Driver Footrest Replacement (Driver Footrest Replacement).
9. Install the front floor console. Refer to Front Floor Console Replacement (Front Floor Console Replacement) in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
10. Install the rear floor console. Refer to Rear Floor Console Replacement (Rear Floor Console Replacement) in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
11. Install the front seats. Refer to Front Seat Replacement - Bucket (Front Seat Replacement - Bucket) in Seats.
