Adhesive Retained Molding and Emblem Description

Body side moldings require preparation prior to replacement when the body side moldings are attached to the body panel with adhesive tape. In order to ensure a good molding replacement, ensure that the panel surface is warmed to 21-32°C (70-90°F). Ensure that the panel surface is clean and free of wax or oily film. Emblems attach to the body panels in the same manner as the body side moldings. Follow the service procedure for body side moldings in order to replace or secure the loose emblems.
