Handle Replacement - Rear Door Outside

HANDLE REPLACEMENT - REAR DOOR OUTSIDE

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the rear door trim panel seal.
2. Remove the 2 mounting nuts (2) which secure the rear door outside handle.




3. Remove the rear door outside handle (2) from the rear license plate housing (1).

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the rear door outside handle (2) to the rear license plate housing (1).




2. Install the 2 mounting nuts (2) which secure the rear door outside handle.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

Tighten
Tighten the rear door outside handle mounting nuts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

3. Install the rear door trim panel seal.
