Handle Replacement - End Gate

HANDLE REPLACEMENT - END GATE

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the endgate trim panel seal.
2. Remove the 2 mounting nuts (2) which secure the endgate outside handle.




3. Remove the endgate outside handle (2) from the rear license plate housing (1).

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the endgate outside handle (2) to the rear license plate housing (1).




2. Install the 2 mounting nuts (2) which secure the endgate outside handle.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

Tighten
Tighten the endgate outside handle mounting nuts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

3. Install the endgate trim panel seal.
