Spring Bumper Replacement

Removal Procedure

Caution: Refer to Vehicle Lifting Caution in Service Precautions

1. Raise the vehicle.

Caution: Refer to Floor Jack Caution in Service Precautions.

2. Support the vehicle with suitable safety stands.





3. Remove the nut (2) retaining the jounce bumper (1) to the lower control arm.
4. Remove the jounce bumper (1) from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure





1. Install the jounce bumper (1) to the lower control arm.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the nut (2) retaining the jounce bumper to the lower control arm.
Tighten the jounce bumper retaining nut to 24 Nm (18 ft. lbs.).
3. Remove the safety stands, lower the vehicle.
