Headliner Replacement - Rear

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the rear passenger seats. Refer to Seat Replacement - Rear Bench (All Except Luxury) (Seat Replacement - Rear Bench (All Except Luxury))Seat Replacement - Rear Bench (Luxury Y91) (Seat Replacement - Rear Bench (Luxury Y91)) in Seats.
2. Remove the front headliner. Refer to Headliner Replacement - Front (Headliner Replacement - Front) .
3. Remove the overhead console assembly, if equipped. Refer to Overhead Console Replacement - Intermediate (Luxury Y91) (Overhead Console Replacement - Intermediate (Luxury Y91)) and to Overhead Console Replacement - Rear (Luxury Y91) (Overhead Console Replacement - Rear (Luxury Y91)) .
4. Remove the driver side body side front garnish molding. Refer to Garnish Molding Replacement - Left Body Side Upper (Garnish Molding Replacement - Left Body Side Upper) .
5. Remove the passenger side front corner garnish molding. Refer to Garnish Molding Replacement - Right Side Front (Garnish Molding Replacement - Right Side Front) .
6. Remove the body side rear upper garnish moldings. Refer to Garnish Molding Replacement - Body Side Rear Upper (Garnish Molding Replacement - Body Side Rear Upper) .
7. Remove the seat belt anchor bolt. Refer to Seat Belt Replacement - Front in Restraints.
8. Remove the coat hooks. Refer to Coat Hook Replacement (Service and Repair) .
9. Remove the overhead Velcro(R) strips from the headliner.
10. Remove the rear heater controls, if equipped. Refer to HVAC Control Assembly Replacement in HVAC Systems - Manual.
11. Remove the dome lamps. Refer to Dome Lamp Replacement (All except Luxury) Dome Lamp Replacement (Luxury Y91) Dome Lamp Replacement (PRP, Fluorescent) in Lighting Systems.
12. Remove the roof console speakers, if equipped. Refer to Speaker Replacement - Roof Console (Luxury Y91) in Entertainment.




13. Slide the headliner from the vehicle rearward.



Installation Procedure

1. Install the roof console speakers, if equipped. Refer to Speaker Replacement - Roof Console (Luxury Y91) in Entertainment.




2. Install the headliner to the vehicle.
3. Install the dome lamps. Refer to Dome Lamp Replacement (All except Luxury) Dome Lamp Replacement (Luxury Y91) Dome Lamp Replacement (PRP, Fluorescent) in Lighting Systems.
4. Install the rear heater controls, if equipped. Refer to HVAC Control Assembly Replacement in HVAC Systems - Manual.
5. Install the overhead Velcro(R) strips to the headliner.
6. Install the coat hooks. Refer to Coat Hook Replacement (Service and Repair) .
7. Install the seat belt anchor bolt. Refer to Seat Belt Replacement - Front in Restraints.
8. Install the body side rear upper garnish moldings. Refer to Garnish Molding Replacement - Body Side Rear Upper (Garnish Molding Replacement - Body Side Rear Upper) .
9. Install the passenger side front corner garnish molding. Refer to Garnish Molding Replacement - Right Side Front (Garnish Molding Replacement - Right Side Front) .
10. Install the driver side body side front garnish molding. Refer to Garnish Molding Replacement - Left Body Side Upper (Garnish Molding Replacement - Left Body Side Upper) .
11. If you removed the overhead console assembly, install the assembly. Refer to Overhead Console Replacement - Intermediate (Luxury Y91) (Overhead Console Replacement - Intermediate (Luxury Y91)) , and to Overhead Console Replacement - Rear (Luxury Y91) (Overhead Console Replacement - Rear (Luxury Y91)) .
12. Install the front headliner. Refer to Headliner Replacement - Front (Headliner Replacement - Front) .
13. Install the rear passenger seats. Refer to Seat Replacement - Rear Bench (All Except Luxury) (Seat Replacement - Rear Bench (All Except Luxury))Seat Replacement - Rear Bench (Luxury Y91) (Seat Replacement - Rear Bench (Luxury Y91)) in Seats.
