Rear Headliner Speakers, Mid Headliner Speakers & Rear Subwoofer Speaker Inoperative
1. Battery positive voltage circuit of the Bose 2000 amplifier-2 is open. Test battery positive voltage circuit of the Bose 2000 amplifier-2 for an open. Refer to Circuit Testing, and to Wiring Repairs in Diagnostic Aids.2. Amplifier supply voltage circuit of the Bose 2000 amplifier-2 is open or shorted. Test the amplifier supply voltage circuit of the Bose 2000 amplifier-2 for an open. Refer to Circuit Testing, and to Wiring Repairs in Diagnostic Aids.
3. Ground circuit of the Bose 2000 amplifier-2 is open. Test ground circuit of the Bose 2000 amplifier-2 for an open. Refer to Circuit Testing, and to Wiring Repairs in Diagnostic Aids.
4. Audio output from the Bose 2000 amplifier-2 is not evident. Test for any AC voltage between the appropriate speaker output circuits at the speaker harness connector, disconnected with the radio volume adjusted to an audible level. If AC voltage is present, replace the speaker. Refer to Speaker Replacement Reference. If AC voltage is not present, replace the Bose 2000 amplifier-2. Refer to Amplifier Replacement - Rear Quarter (Luxury Y91).
