Lock Cylinder Replacement - Rear Door

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the rear door trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Side Rear Door. Service and Repair
2. Remove the rear door outside handle. Refer to Door Handle Replacement - Outside (Service and Repair) .




3. Remove the clip that retains the lock cylinder lever to the lock cylinder (1).
4. Press the lock cylinder, from outside the vehicle, through the rear door outside handle (3).
5. Remove the lock cylinder (1) from the rear door outside handle (3).



Installation Procedure





1. Press the lock cylinder (1) into the handle (3) in order to engage the lock cylinder retainer.
2. Install the clip that retains the lock cylinder lever to the lock cylinder (1).
3. Install the rear door outside handle. Refer to Door Handle Replacement - Outside (Service and Repair) .
4. Install the rear door trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Side Rear Door. Service and Repair
