71. Oil Pump Installation

Oil Pump Installation





1. Install the oil pump with the driveshaft.
2. Apply Sealer GM P/N United States 12345493, GM P/N Canada 10953488, or equivalent to the oil pump bolts.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

3. Install the oil pump bolts.
^ Tighten the oil pump bolts to 90 Nm (65 ft. lbs.).
