Front Bass Speaker and Rear Subwoofer Speaker Inoperative
LUXURY UPFIT SYSTEM1. Low level audio circuit from the Bose amplifier leading to and from the affected sub-amplifier is open or shorted. Test the appropriate low level audio circuits of the Bose amplifier for an open or short. Refer to Circuit Testing, and to Wiring Repairs in Diagrams.
2. Ground circuit of the amplifier is open. Test ground circuit of the amplifier for an open. Refer to Circuit Testing, and to Wiring Repairs in Diagrams.
3. Audio output from the sub-amplifier is not evident. Test for any AC voltage between the appropriate speaker output circuits at the speaker harness connector, disconnected with the radio volume adjusted to an audible level. If AC voltage is present, replace the speaker. Refer to Speaker Replacement. If AC voltage is not present, replace the sub-amplifier. Refer to Amplifier Replacement (Luxury Y91).
