Headlining Rear Trim Panel Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the rear passenger seats. Refer to Rear Bench Seat Replacement (All Except Luxury) (Rear Bench Seat Replacement (All Except Luxury))Rear Bench Seat Replacement (Luxury Y91) (Rear Bench Seat Replacement (Luxury Y91)) in Seats.
2. Remove the front headliner. Refer to Headlining Front Trim Panel Replacement (Headliner Replacement - Front) .
3. Remove the overhead console assembly, if equipped. Refer to Overhead Console Replacement - Intermediate (Luxury Y91) (Overhead Console Replacement - Intermediate (Luxury Y91)) and to Roof Rear Console Replacement (Luxury Y91) (Roof Rear Console Replacement (Luxury Y91)) .
4. Remove the driver side body side front garnish molding. Refer to Body Side Front Garnish Molding Replacement - Left Side (Body Side Front Garnish Molding Replacement - Left Side) .
5. Remove the passenger side front corner garnish molding. Refer to Center Pillar Upper Garnish Molding Replacement - Right Side (Center Pillar Upper Garnish Molding Replacement - Right Side) .
6. Remove the body side rear upper garnish moldings. Refer to Body Side Rear Upper Garnish Molding Replacement (Body Side Rear Upper Garnish Molding Replacement) .
7. Remove the seat belt anchor bolt. Refer to Front Seat Belt Replacement in Restraints.
8. Remove the coat hooks. Refer to Coat Hook Replacement (Service and Repair) .
9. Remove the overhead Velcro(R) strips from the headliner.
10. Remove the rear heater controls, if equipped. Refer to Heater and Air Conditioning Control Replacement in HVAC Systems - Manual.
11. Remove the dome lamps. Refer to Dome Lamp Replacement (All except Luxury) Dome Lamp Replacement (Luxury Y91) in Lighting Systems.
12. Remove the roof console speakers, if equipped. Refer to Radio Roof Speaker Replacement (Luxury Y91) in Entertainment.




13. Slide the headliner from the vehicle rearward.



Installation Procedure

1. Install the roof console speakers, if equipped. Refer to Radio Roof Speaker Replacement (Luxury Y91) in Entertainment.




2. Install the headliner to the vehicle.
3. Install the dome lamps. Refer to Dome Lamp Replacement (All except Luxury) Dome Lamp Replacement (Luxury Y91) in Lighting Systems.
4. Install the rear heater controls, if equipped. Refer to Heater and Air Conditioning Control Replacement in HVAC Systems - Manual.
5. Install the overhead Velcro(R) strips to the headliner.
6. Install the coat hooks. Refer to Coat Hook Replacement (Service and Repair) .
7. Install the seat belt anchor bolt. Refer to Front Seat Belt Replacement in Restraints.
8. Install the body side rear upper garnish moldings. Refer to Body Side Rear Upper Garnish Molding Replacement (Body Side Rear Upper Garnish Molding Replacement) .
9. Install the passenger side front corner garnish molding. Refer to Center Pillar Upper Garnish Molding Replacement - Right Side (Center Pillar Upper Garnish Molding Replacement - Right Side) .
10. Install the driver side body side front garnish molding. Refer to Body Side Front Garnish Molding Replacement - Left Side (Body Side Front Garnish Molding Replacement - Left Side) .
11. If you removed the overhead console assembly, install the assembly. Refer to Overhead Console Replacement - Intermediate (Luxury Y91) (Overhead Console Replacement - Intermediate (Luxury Y91)) , and to Roof Rear Console Replacement (Luxury Y91) (Roof Rear Console Replacement (Luxury Y91)) .
12. Install the front headliner. Refer to Headlining Front Trim Panel Replacement (Headliner Replacement - Front) .
13. Install the rear passenger seats. Refer to Rear Bench Seat Replacement (All Except Luxury) (Rear Bench Seat Replacement (All Except Luxury))Rear Bench Seat Replacement (Luxury Y91) (Rear Bench Seat Replacement (Luxury Y91)) in Seats.
