Pulsed Secondary Air Injection Vacuum Solenoid: Service and Repair

SECONDARY AIR INJECTION (AIR) VACUUM CONTROL SOLENOID VALVE REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Raise the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle.
2. Remove pump assembly. Refer to Secondary Air Injection (AIR) Pump Replacement.
3. Remove vacuum control solenoid from pump bracket.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Install vacuum control solenoid to pump bracket.
2. Install pump assembly. Refer to Secondary Air Injection (AIR) Pump Replacement.
3. Lower the vehicle.
