Vacuum Reservoir HVAC: Service and Repair

VACUUM TANK REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the coolant recovery reservoir.
2. Disconnect the vacuum hose(s) (2).




3. Remove the bolts.
4. Remove the vacuum tank (2).

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the vacuum tank (2).

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the bolts.

Tighten
Tighten the bolts to 11 N.m (97 lb in).




3. Connect the vacuum hose(s) (2).
4. Install the coolant recovery reservoir.
