General Information
The auxiliary blower motor recycles air from the vehicle's interior. The vehicle operator determines the auxiliary blower motor's speed by placing the front auxiliary HVAC control assembly in one of the following positions: Low, Med, or High. Rear seat passengers on passenger van models can adjust the auxiliary blower motor speed by using the rear auxiliary HVAC control assembly. The auxiliary blower motor will only operate when the ignition is in the RUN position, and the front auxiliary HVAC control assembly is in any position other than OFF. The rear auxiliary HVAC control assembly will operate in any position other than the OFF position, as long as the front auxiliary HVAC control assembly is in the REAR CNTL position.Power is provided to the auxiliary blower motor from the underhood fuse block on the battery positive voltage circuit through the convenience center. The IP fuse block provides power to the control side of the auxiliary blower motor relays through the ignition 1 voltage circuit and convenience center.
