Idler Pulley: Service and Repair

Removal Procedure





1. Remove the fan shroud.
2. Remove the drive belt.
3. Remove the drive belt idler pulley bolt.





4. If equipped without Air Conditioning (A/C), remove the drive belt idler pulley bolt.
5. Remove the drive belt idler pulley(s).

Installation Procedure





1. Install the drive belt idler pulley(s).

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. If equipped without A/C, install the drive belt idler pulley bolt.
^ Tighten the drive belt idler pulley bolt to 50 Nm (37 ft. lbs.).





3. Install the drive belt idler pulley bolt.
^ Tighten the drive belt idler pulley bolt to 50 Nm (37 ft. lbs.).
4. Install the drive belt.
5. Install the fan shroud.
