Driveline Support Replacement





Removal Procedure
1. Raise the vehicle. Refer to Vehicle Lifting.
2. Support the propeller shaft with safety stands.
3. Remove the center bearing bolts (3).





4. Remove the propeller shaft hanger bolts.
5. Remove the propeller shaft hanger.

Installation Procedure





1. Install the propeller shaft hanger.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the propeller shaft hanger bolts.
^ Tighten the propeller shaft hanger bolts to 38 Nm (28 ft. lbs.) (155 inch wheel base vehicles).
^ Tighten the propeller shaft hanger bolts to 58 Nm (43 ft. lbs.) (for all other vehicles).





3. Install the center bearing (5) to the propeller shaft hanger (1).
4. Install the center bearing support bolts (3).
^ Tighten the center bearing support bolts to 58 Nm (43 ft. lbs.).
5. Remove the safety stands.
6. Lower the vehicle.
