Fill Line Union (Check Valve) Replacement
REMOVAL PROCEDURE1. Remove the Fill Line assembly from the vehicle. Refer to Fill Line Replacement.
2. Mark the orientation of the inlet and outlet lines on the check valve.
3. Remove the inlet line from the check valve.
4. Remove the outlet line from the check valve.
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
CAUTION: Refer to Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) O-Ring Caution in Service Precautions.
NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
1. Connect the outlet line to the check valve using new O-rings. Lubricate the O-rings with petroleum jelly or equivalent.
Tighten
Tighten the fuel line to 37 N.m (27 lb ft).
2. Connect the inlet line to the check valve using new O-rings. Lubricate the O-rings with petroleum jelly or equivalent.
3. Align the inlet and outlet lines to the same orientation as previously recorded.
Tighten
Tighten the fuel line to 37 N.m (27 lb ft).
4. Install the Fill Line assembly into the vehicle.
