Mode Actuator Replacement (Upper)

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the engine cover.
2. Remove the instrument panel. Refer to IP Carrier Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.
3. Disconnect the vacuum hose from the lower mode actuator (2).
4. Remove the lower mode actuator (2) from the heater case (4).
5. Remove the linkage from the lower mode actuator (2).

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the linkage to the lower mode actuator (2).
2. Install the lower mode actuator (2) to the heater case (4).
3. Connect the vacuum hose to the lower mode actuator (2).
4. Install the instrument panel. Refer to IP Carrier Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.
5. Install the engine cover.
