25. Rear Upper Valve Body Assemble

1. Install the following 2-3 shift valve components:
^ The spring
^ The valve
^ The plug
^ The retainer
2. Install the 1-2 shift valve and spring.
3. Install the following rear valve body plate components:
^ The gasket
^ The plate
^ The bolts

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

^ Tighten the bolts to 5 Nm (44 inch lbs).
4. Install the following 3-4 shift valve components:
^ The spring
^ The valve
^ The plug
^ The retainer
5. Install the following components to the valve body:
^ The reverse brake sequence valve spring
^ The clutch sequence valve
^ The 3-2 kickdown control valve plug
^ The needle roller pin
6. Install the six valve body balls.
