2. Rear Adapter Case, Vehicle Speed Sensor Removal

1. Remove the following components from the rear adapter case (2):
^ The Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS) bolt
^ The VSS (1)
2. Remove the following rear adapter case components from the transmission case:
^ The bolts
^ The case
^ The gasket





3. Remove the cooler lines (1) and remove the fittings (2).





4. Remove the following components from the rear output shaft:
^ The VSS snap ring (2)
^ The VSS rotor (1)
^ The key-way
^ The rear cover plate and screws (3)
