Installation Procedure


Important: DO NOT tighten the upper control arm bolts before lowering the vehicle. The weight of the vehicle must be on the tires and wheels before tightening the nuts and bolts. If the vehicle has ABS, the front of the upper control arm must be toward the front of the vehicle.





1. Install the upper control arm (2) and the bolt to the chassis frame and to the axle housing.
2. Install the following components to the axle housing:
- The upper control arm
- The bolt
- The nut

3. If the vehicle has ABS, connect the wheel speed sensor harness clamp (1) to the upper control arm (2).
4. Lower the vehicle.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

5. With the weight of the vehicle on the tires and wheels, tighten the bolts and nuts.
- Tighten the nuts and bolts to 90 Nm (65.0 ft. lbs.).
