Rear Door Lock Replacement (4 Door - With Power Locks)

Removal Procedure





1. Remove the rear door trim panel seal. Refer to Water Deflector Replacement (2 Door) (Water Deflector Replacement (2 Door))Water Deflector Replacement (4 Door) (Water Deflector Replacement (4 Door)) .
2. Open the rear door lock cylinder control rod retainer (3).
3. Remove the rear door lock cylinder control rod (4) from the rear door lock cylinder (2).




4. Open the rear door lock cylinder control rod retainer (2).
5. Remove the rear door lock cylinder control rod (1) from the rear door lock (3).




6. Disconnect the rear door lock electrical connector.
7. Remove the 4 screws which secure the rear door lock (1).
8. Remove the rear door lock (1) from the rear door (2).



Installation Procedure





1. Install the rear door lock (1) to the rear door (2). Secure the lock with the 4 screws.
2. Connect the rear door lock electrical connector.




3. Install the rear door lock cylinder control rod (1) to the rear door lock (3). Secure the rod by closing the rear door lock cylinder control rod retainer (2).




4. Install the rear door lock cylinder control rod (4) to the rear door lock cylinder (2). Secure the rod by closing the rear door lock cylinder control rod retainer (3).
5. Install the rear door trim panel seal. Refer to Water Deflector Replacement (2 Door) (Water Deflector Replacement (2 Door))Water Deflector Replacement (4 Door) (Water Deflector Replacement (4 Door)) .
