Rear Side Door Window Replacement

Removal Procedure





Caution: Refer to Safety Glasses Caution in Cautions and Notices.
1. Remove the rear side door water deflector. Refer to Rear Side Door Water Deflector Replacement (Service and Repair) .
2. Reposition the rear side door window channel away from the rear side door stationary window channel (5) in order to gain the necessary clearance to remove the stationary window channel.
3. Remove the following components from the rear side door:

* The screw (1)
* The 2 bolts (3)
* The rear side door stationary window channel (5)

4. Remove the rear side door stationary window (2) from the vehicle.




5. Raise the rear side door window (1) slightly in order to gain access to the rear side door window mounting screws (2).
6. Remove the 2 screws (2) which secure the door window (1) to the rear side door window regulator.
7. Remove the door window (1) from the door.



Installation Procedure





1. Install the rear side door window (1) to the rear side door. Secure the window to the rear side door window regulator with the 2 mounting screws (2).




2. Install the rear side door stationary window (2) to the vehicle.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

3. Install the rear side door stationary window channel (5) to the door. Secure the channel with the 2 bolts (3) and the screw (1).

Tighten the rear side door stationary window channel bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

4. Install the rear side door window channel to the stationary window channel (5).
5. Install the rear side door water deflector. Refer to Rear Side Door Water Deflector Replacement (Service and Repair) .
