Tie Rod End Boot Inspection

Tie Rod End Dust Seal Inspection





Inspect the tie rod seal (4) for cracks or damage.
Replace a cracked or damaged tie rod seal. Refer to Tie Rod End Replacement-Outer.






Inspect the outer tie rod end ball joint (1) for play. If the outer tie rod end ball joint is damaged, replace the outer tie rod end. Refer to Tie Rod End Replacement-Outer.
