Seat Belt Systems: Service and Repair




REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Pull the rear seat pull straps (1 and 2) and raise the rear seat cushions (3 and 4) in order to gain access to the rear seat center belt and buckle bolts.
2. Remove the following components from the floor pan:
2.1. The mounting bolt
2.2. The rear seat center belt
2.3. The anchor bolt
2.4. The rear seat belt buckle

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

1. Install the rear seat center buckle to the floor pan. Secure the buckle with the anchor bolt.

Tighten
Tighten the rear seat center buckle anchor bolt to 35 N.m (25 lb ft).

2. Install the rear seat center belt to the floor pan. Secure the center belt with the mounting bolt.

Tighten
Tighten the rear seat belt mounting bolt to 35 N.m (25 lb ft).

3. Lower the rear seat cushions (3 and 4).
