Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) - Printed Circuit Replacement

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

CAUTION: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in Cautions and Notices.




1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the instrument cluster.
3. Remove all of the bulb sockets from the rear of the instrument cluster (2).
4. Remove the following from the rear of the instrument cluster (2):
4.1. The multifunction alarm retainer
4.2. The multifunction alarm (1)
5. Remove the antilock brake indicator check module (6) from the rear of the instrument cluster (2).




6. Remove the instrument cluster lens and bezel assembly (2) from the instrument cluster (1) by releasing the 6 black plastic tabs.
7. Remove the engine tachometer from the instrument cluster.
8. Remove the speedometer from the instrument cluster.
9. Remove the fuel/temperature gauge from the instrument cluster.




10. Remove the instrument cluster printed circuit (2) from the instrument cluster (1).

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the instrument cluster printed circuit (2) to the instrument Cluster (1).




2. Install the antilock brake indicator check module (6) to the rear of the instrument cluster (2).
3. Install the multifunction alarm (1) to the rear of the instrument cluster (2). Secure the alarm with the retainer.
4. Install all of the bulb sockets to the rear of the instrument cluster assembly (2).




5. Install the engine tachometer to the instrument cluster.
6. Install the speedometer to the instrument cluster.
7. Install the fuel/temperature gauge to the Instrument cluster.
8. Install the instrument cluster lens and bezel assembly (2) to the instrument cluster (1). Ensure that the plastic retaining tabs are fully engaged.
9. Install the instrument cluster.
10. Connect the negative battery cable.
