Fuel Composition Sensor Replacement
REMOVAL PROCEDURE1. Turn OFF the ignition.
2. Relieve the fuel pressure. Refer to Fuel Pressure Relief Procedure.
3. Remove the fuel composition sensor FCS attachment nut (1).
4. Remove the 2 FCS attachment bolts.
5. Remove the FCS from the frame rail (3).
6. Disconnect the FCS inlet and outlet pipes from the FCS. Refer to Quick Connect Fittings Service (Plastic Collar).
7. Disconnect the FCS electrical connector.
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Connect the FCS inlet and outlet pipes (6) to the FCS (1).
2. Connect the FCS electrical connector (4).
NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
3. Install the attaching nut (1).
Tighten
Tighten the nut to 17 N.m (12.5 lb ft)
4. Install the 2 FCS attachment bolts.
Tighten
Tighten the bolts to 17 N.m (12.5 lb ft)
