Oil Pump Replacement

Removal Procedure
1. Remove the engine oil pan. Refer to Oil Pan Replacement.
2. Remove the oil pump. Refer to Oil Pump Removal.
3. Clean and inspect the oil pump. Refer to Oil Pump Clean and Inspect.
4. Inspect the mating surfaces between the engine and the oil pump. It must be clean and free of burrs.

Installation Procedure
1. Install the oil pump. Refer to Oil Pump Installation.
2. Install the engine oil pan. Refer to Oil Pan Replacement.
