Front Door Window Regulator: Service and Repair

Module Replacement - Power Window

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the front door trim panel. Refer to Door Trim Panel Replacement (Service and Repair) .
2. Remove the front door speaker. Refer to Radio Front Side Door Speaker Replacement in Entertainment.
3. Remove the front door water deflector. Refer to Front Side Door Water Deflector Replacement Service and Repair.
4. Lower the window.
5. Remove the inner window sealing strip. Refer to Front Side Door Window Belt Inner Sealing Strip Replacement (Front Side Door Window Belt Inner Sealing Strip Replacement) .
6. Remove the outer window sealing strip. Refer to Outer Belt Sealing Strip Replacement (Front Side Door Window Belt Outer Sealing Strip Replacement) .




7. Remove the front and rear run channel from the door. Refer to Window Channel Replacement (Door Window Channel)
8. Remove the inside handle from the door. Refer to Door Inside Handle Replacement (Door Handle Replacement) .
9. Remove the lock rods from the front door module (1).
10. Remove the electrical harness from the front door module (1).
11. Remove the rivets (3), that retain the front door module (1) to the door, with an appropriate drill and drill bit.
12. Remove the front door module (1) from the door.



Installation Procedure





1. Install the front door module (1) to the door.
2. Rivet (3) the front door module (1) to the door.
3. Install the electrical harness to the front door module (1).
4. Install the lock rods to the front door module.
5. Install the inside handle to the door. Refer to Door Inside Handle Replacement (Door Handle Replacement) .
6. Install the front and rear run channel to the door. Refer to Window Channel Replacement (Door Window Channel) .
7. Install the inner window sealing strip. Refer to Front Side Door Window Belt Inner Sealing Strip Replacement (Front Side Door Window Belt Inner Sealing Strip Replacement) .
8. Install the outer window sealing strip. Refer to Outer Belt Sealing Strip Replacement (Front Side Door Window Belt Outer Sealing Strip Replacement) .
9. Install the front door water deflector. Refer to Front Side Door Water Deflector Replacement Service and Repair.
10. Install the front door speaker. Refer toRadio Front Side Door Speaker Replacement in Entertainment.
11. Install the front door trim panel. Refer to Door Trim Panel Replacement (Service and Repair) .
