Flex Plate: Service and Repair

Removal Procedure





1. Remove the transmission. Refer to Transmission Replacement in Transmission and Drivetrain.
2. Remove the engine flywheel. Refer to Engine Flywheel Removal.
3. Clean and inspect all parts. Refer to Engine Flywheel Clean and Inspect.


Installation Procedure





1. Install the engine flywheel. Refer to Engine Flywheel Installation.
2. Install the transmission. Refer to Transmission Replacement in Transmission and Drivetrain.
