Slip Yoke: Service and Repair

1. Apply chassis lubricant at the slip spline grease fitting until the grease begins to escape through the vent hole.

2. If the slip spline is dry or corroded, you may need to disconnect the propeller shaft from the vehicle. Refer to Propeller Shaft Replacement - One Piece and Propeller Shaft Replacement - Two Piece.

3. Remove the slip yoke.

4. Wire brush the affected area.

5. Wipe the affected area clean before installation.
