Spare Tire Replacement (Cutaway)

Removal Procedure





1. Remove the retaining nut from the top of the spare tire.
2. Remove the adapter from the spare tire.
3. Remove the spare tire from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure





1. Install the spare tire to the vehicle.
2. Install the adapter to the spare tire.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

3. Install the retaining nut to the top of the spare tire.
Tighten the nut to 52 Nm (38 ft. lbs.).
