Tail Lamp: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the upper quarter panel applique.
2. Remove the nuts (2) that retain the taillamp to the upper quarter panel.
3. Remove the center high mounted stoplamp lens (2) from the center high mounted stoplamp applique.
4. Disconnect the bulb sockets from the taillamp (3).
5. Remove the bulbs from the sockets by turning the bulbs in a counter-clockwise direction.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Connect the bulbs into the sockets.
2. Connect the bulb sockets into the taillamp (3).

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

3. Install the taillamp retaining nuts (2) to the upper quarter panel.

Tighten
Tighten the nuts to 5 N.m (44 lb in).

4.Install the upper quarter panel applique.
