Key In Ignition Reminder
The key-in warning alarm is presented if they key remains in the ignition switch and the driver's side door is opened. This alarm remains present until the key is removed or the door is shut. The multitunction alarm module senses that the key is in the ignition switch and that the door is open by a ground path through the following components:^ CKT 80 (LT GRN)
^ the key-in warning switch in the steering column
^ CKT159(TAN)
^ the left front door jamb switch
^ CKT 150 (BLK) to ground.
For recreational vehicles with the upfitter package, the ground is G200. For all other vehicle, ground is G201. Any open in the ground path will inhibit the alarm.
