Idler Pulley: Service and Repair

Removal Procedure





1. Remove the drive belt. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement.
2. Remove the belt idler pulley bolt.
3. Remove the belt idler pulley.


Installation Procedure

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.





1. Install the drive belt idler pulley and bolt to the engine.
^ Tighten the bolt to 50 Nm (37 ft. lbs.). Install the drive belt. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement.
