Door Lock Cylinder Replacement (Front Door )

Removal Procedure

1. Raise the window completely.
2. Remove the front door trim panel. Refer to Door Trim Panel Replacement (Service and Repair) .
3. Remove the water deflector. Refer to Front Side Door Water Deflector Replacement. Service and Repair




4. Remove the outside door handle (3). Refer to Door Outside Handle Replacement (Service and Repair) .
5. Remove the clip that retains the lock cylinder lever to the lock cylinder (1).
6. Press the lock cylinder retainer. Remove the lock cylinder (1) from the outside door handle (3).



Installation Procedure





1. Press the lock cylinder (1) in the outside door handle (3) in order to engage the lock cylinder retainer.
2. Install the clip in order to retain the lock cylinder lever to the lock cylinder (1).
3. Install the outside door handle (3). Refer to Door Outside Handle Replacement (Service and Repair) .
4. Install the front door water deflector. Refer to Front Side Door Water Deflector Replacement. Service and Repair
5. Install the front door trim panel. Refer to Door Trim Panel Replacement (Service and Repair) .
