Compartment Replacement - IP

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the instrument panel cluster trim plate. Refer to Trim Plate Bezel Replacement - IP Cluster () .
2. Remove the instrument panel lower extension upper trim panel. Refer toIP Extension Trim Plate Replacement () .




3. Remove the screws that retain the upper instrument panel compartment to the instrument panel carrier.




4. Remove the screws that retain the lower instrument panel compartment to the instrument panel carrier.
5. Remove the instrument panel compartment(s) from the instrument panel carrier.
6. Remove the instrument panel compartment(s) from the vehicle.



Installation Procedure





1. Install the upper instrument panel compartment to the vehicle.




2. Install the lower instrument panel compartment to the vehicle.
3. Install the instrument panel compartment(s) to the instrument panel carrier.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

4. Install the screws that retain the instrument panel compartment(s) to the instrument panel carrier.

Tighten the screws to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

5. Install the instrument panel lower extension upper trim panel. Refer to IP Extension Trim Plate Replacement () .
6. Install the instrument panel cluster trim plate. Refer to Trim Plate Bezel Replacement - IP Cluster () .
