Front Bumper Impact Bar Bracket Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the front impact bar from the vehicle. Refer to Front Bumper Impact Bar Replacement (Front Bumper Impact Bar Replacement) .
2. Mark the location of the bolts and the brackets to the bumper.




3. Remove the bolts (2) that retain the brackets (1) to the bumper (4) and the bumper reinforcement (3).
4. Remove the brackets (1) from the bumper (4) and the bumper reinforcement (3).



Installation Procedure





1. Install the bracket (1) to the bumper (4) and the bumper reinforcement (3).
2. Align the brackets (1) with the marks made prior to the removal.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

3. Install the bumper (4) and bumper reinforcement retaining bolts (2).

Tighten the bumper reinforcement retaining bolts to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).

4. Install the front bumper impact bar to the vehicle. Refer to Front Bumper Impact Bar Replacement (Front Bumper Impact Bar Replacement) .
