ON/VOL

The ignition switch must be in the ACC or ON positions in order to operate the radio. When the ignition is in the OFF position, the time can be displayed for approximately five seconds by pressing the RECALL button. When the ignition switch is in the ACC or ON positions and the radio is turned off, the time will display. In this instance, all controls except those required to set the clock will deactivate.

When you turn the knob clockwise, past the detent, you will turn on the radio. When you turn the knob further, you will increase the volume. In order to decrease the volume, turn the knob counterclockwise. When you continue to turn the knob past the detent, you will turn the radio off.
